- initially developed by Boeing
- tied up in 99 year lease, leasing group is now dissolved
- good site for expansion
- entrance of town, therefore must have curb appeal
+ industrial park: across from previously stated site
- Parshall is currently in the process of bringing power and other amenities to site in order to attract business
- town needs to create area and spec it to standards that will benefit the town not only now but in the future
+ Infill
- housing currently needed for existing population
- infill must work to make town more viable, can bring strapped homeowners closer to solvency therefore making overall town stronger utilities and taxes more condensed.
+ Elders
- existing nursing home is up for sale, parshall needs to create a center for rural elder care for the surrounding area
- create elder community with a tiered levels of assistance as to create an easy transition
+ Downtown
- revitalize downtown with money made from expansion
- create/enhance areas for community activity and services
- enhance existing historic structures, bring more presence to downtown.
- bring more entertainment for youth
+ Nodes
- create/enhance community nodes ie. pocket parks, pool, school adjacency: small informal areas of community connection.
